Informed Simplicity is an enlightened view of reality. It is founded upon an ability to discern or create clarifying patterns within complex mixtures. Pattern recognition is a crucial skill for an architect, who must create a highly ordered building amid many competing and frequently nebulous design considerations.
I Like to Run
I like to run. They say running releases endorphins in the brain that make you feel good, uplifted, happy even. I run to escape, such a cliche for sure but I can mentally place my problems at a starting point and in seconds leave them far behind. The only problem is I end up coming back the same way, my start is also my end. Invariably I pick back up what had been laid down, but for those 20mins or so I an free, uplifted and yes even happy. Am I a masochist? The pain of pushing oneself so hard brings joy. A strange concept or maybe not.
Being alone, hurting and exhausted, running through the woods and down to the beach the smell of last nights campfires fills the air. Body gasping for oxygen, lungs starved, unable to function…I cannot help but pause at the top of the hill and reflect on her, the cause of my pain. My real pain the one who starved me of the oxygen iso sorely needed, who denies me of any aid just pain, pain is what you gave me, unrelentingly and overwhelmingly.
About to burst and spew forth the vomit I need to expel cos I hate you and your lies and deceit, you’re beauty and the beast, not so sweet as once upon a time. Not this time, for now I follow all the footsteps left before by damned souls such as I.

Streets of Tokyo.
City’s can be cold, hard places. But when it rains a city begins to soften, each droplet coating the roads and pavements, the people hidden under umbrellas and the cars driving by. After a while you just want to hold the whole place as close as possible.

Took this picture at Blanch’s funeral today. Was a gorgeous day with the mist rising as the sun warmed the ground.
Can’t recall where this was taken, it was almost certainly a bar in the Albert Dock, Liverpool.
The two Bens, one of whom hasn’t been seen or heard of for about three years. In the back of Danny’s camper van, when we used to do fun stuff like going the beach.
